Programme Unveiled in Aizawl
On Thursday, August 21, 2025, Mizoram’s Sports and Youth Services Minister, Lalnghinglova Hmar—who also serves as President of the Mizoram State Sports Council—officially launched the Grassroots Sports Development Programme (GSDP) at the Ramhlun Indoor Stadium in Aizawl.
The focus of the GSDP is clear: to build a strong foundation for sports by nurturing young talent, especially children, and fostering an inclusive sporting culture from the most fundamental levels.
